Dropbox • Digital tool used to store and retrieve files in cloud space • Introduced by fellow classmates as a means of sharing documents, used for collaborating on group projects and presentations • Organization, collaboration, and sharing files; assignments handed in online
Twitter • Free online social networking used to broadcast messages (tweets), reply to messages and create communities with common interests • Introduced in Digital Technology in education By Shawn Bullock • Suggestion was made to use tweet deck as a way to manage tweets - collaboration tool, allows for feedback, include all students in classroom discussions
Prezi • Free online "non-linear presentation tool for mapping and sharing ideas • An alternative presentation software based on canvas format rather than individual slides • Collaboration tool used in conjunction with Google drive and Dropbox to build presentations in real time • Have transferred current PowerPoint workshops/presentations to Prezi Click on the Logo above to view a Prezi artefact
Google Drive Google + • Free web-based office program containing document, presentation and spreadsheet software • Offers cloud storage, sharing of files and ability to collaborate on assignments and projects • Use this app on my personal i-pad for sharing documents and collaboration

Knowledge Forum • Electronic group workspace designed to support the process of knowledge building • Collaboration tool used in Learning with Technology • Every individual contributes to a growing body of knowledge which can lead to innovation and growth
Edmodo • Private, safe and free social network designed specifically for schools • Students join class with the invitation from teacher; teacher can connect with students online using computers or mobile devices • I am parent-user of this software - I have two daughters' teachers who use this as part of a School Board I-pad program
Google Hangouts • Instant messaging and video chat platform • Interactive presentation providing experiential learning during EDUC5405 • Collaboration tool for group chats of up to 10 people; can hold online meetings; send photos/emoji (equivalent of emoticons)
Vizify • Personal website tool based on Social media profiles • Created graphical biography for capstone project
Weebly • Web-hosting service featuring a drag-and-drop website builder • Used to build final capstone project • Set up a classroom website & blog; students can have their own account; teachers can accept homework online and communicate with parents
