The Gestopo or the secret state police tortured and murdered people for a living. They also carried non- pure and convicted people to death camps. Out of all their many horrors the mass murders were the worst by far. First they would line you up over a hole then shoot you into the hole. The Gestopo excelled at mass murders, but their main mission was routing out the resistance and killing political rivals. They were masters at this.
