  2. THE BEST ARCHER • Robin was a favourite with everyone. • He was tall, strong, handsome, and funny. He was brave too. • He was the best archer in the countryside.

  3. THE FOREST OF SHERWOOD • There was a terrible fight. Only Robin was saved. • He took his bow and arrows and went to the forest of Sherwood.

  4. THE MERRY MEN • Poor men joined Robin. They formed a band, the Merry Men. • Robin Hood was a captain of the band.

  5. LITTLE JOHN • Next to Robin came Little John. • They became great friends.

  6. ROBIN’S ADVENTURES • Robin’s band took money from rich men and gave it to poor people.

  7. ROBIN’S BEST THINGS • This is Robin’s favorite sword and hat.

  8. LADY MARIAN • One day Robin met the most beautiful lady in the forest. He thought she looked like a queen. He loved her from the very first moment. • Her name was Marian.
