the FIA Institute | 30.07.09 Medical programme • Increase competency – the strategy • Develop a competency framework and identify which competency areas to include in curriculum • Develop a suite of courses to train trainers (motor sport content, medical content, pedagogical content) • Conduct new train the trainer courses (modular allowing for recognition of prior learning and therefore exemptions) • Support newly trained trainers in delivery of local training to medical personnel new to motor sport
