The pattern of diligent • The Lord Jesus Himself is a good pattern of diligent: • 1. The Lord Jesus as a slave of God ,He did more than what He spoke. He diligently served both God and man. He also taught His disciples to be diligent. • 2. Jesus was born in a carpenter’s house. He was also a carpenter, did the work of carpentry until 30 years old, then He began His ministry. (Matthew 13:53-56) • 3. He was in the things of the Father continuously. Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature and the grace of God was upon Him. (Luke 2:40-52) • 4. As the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)
5. Jesus fed 5,000 people and took care of all the needs of people around Him. (Mark 6:34-44) • 6. He spent the whole night in prayer to God for the appointing of 12 apostles. (Luke 6:12-16) • 7. He rose up very early in the morning, and He went to a deserted place to pray to seek the will of God for His gospel service. ( Mark 1:32-35) • 8. While Jesus was working, He asked His disciples to lift up their eyes and look on the fields in order to reap His harvest. (John 4:35-38) • 9. The Lord likened Himself as the good shepherd who looks for the lost sheep. He goes after the lost one until He finds it. (Luke 15:3-7) The Lord also says that He is the good shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. (John 10:2-11)

(Proverb 10:5) The hand of the diligent will rule, But the slothful will be under forced labor.
