Alfred Jodl • Chief of Operations for the German High Command • Charged of 3 crimes • He was found guilty of these 3 cases and was hanged on October 16, 1946.
Ernst Kaltenbrunner • Chief of RSHA and Chief of Security Police • Charged of 13 crimes • He was executed by hanging on October 16, 1946
Franz von Papen • Reich Chancellor prior to Hitler, Vice Chancellor under Hitler, Ambassador to Turkey • He was acquitted of all charges at Nuremberg • He was sentenced to a labor camp in 1949, but as released immediately following appeals
Willhelm Keitel • Chief of Staff of the German High Command • Charged of 8 Crimes • Willhelm was also hanged in 1946
Konstantin von Neurath • Minister of Foreign Affairs (until 1938), then Reich Protector for Bohemia and Moravia • He helped with preparation of the Nazi conspirators for Wars of Aggression • He was held a war criminal until November 1954. He suffered a heart attack two years after his release
Erich Raeder • Commander in Chief of the German Navy • Charged of 2 crimes • He was sentenced to life in prison, but was released in 1955 due to ill health
Joachim von Ribbentrop • Foreign Minister • Questioned about the concentration camps and racial extermination crimes • He was executed on October 16, 1946
Alfred Rosenberg • found guilty for all four counts (crimes against peace, wars of aggression, war crimes, and crimes against humanity) • invasion of Norway and Soviet Union • Hung on October 16, 1946
Fritz Sauckel • crimes against peace, wars of aggression, war crimes, and crimes against humanity • defended Arbeitseinsatz • hanged on October 16,1946
Hjalmar Schacht • put on trial in 1945 for crimes against peace • pleaded not guilty • he was aquitted
Baldur von Schirach • surrendered in 1945 • crimes against humanity • October 1, 1946
Arthur Seyss-Inquart • faced charges of conspiracy to commit crimes against peace, wars of aggression, war crimes, and crimes against humanity • found guilty of all charges • hanged on October 16, 1946
Albert Speer • May 23, all members of the Flensburg Government were arrested • indicted crime against peace, wars of aggression, war crimes, and crimes against humanity • October 1, 1946 sentenced to 20 years imprisonment
Julius Streicher • evidence came from his speeches and articles • acquitted of crimes against peace • found guilty of crimes against humanity • sentenced to death on October 1, 1946
