Save all the powerpoints into that folder. • Have the students go to My Computer/ Student Shared/ 5th Grade/ Combinations Lesson. • Have them open the PowerPoint with their group number. • Have them work together as a team to use the information in the table to come up with a combination that either comes as close to their total WITHOUT going over, OR that just barely exceeds their total—depending on the instructions on their slide. Use the following instructions to print and create the Pyramid! TEKS 5.5A 5.14D 5.15A • DAY 2 • Have students return to their original groups. • Pass around the pyramids and have each group check the combinations created the day before. • Have each group decide whether they agree or disagree with each combination. • You can use the form on the next page to have them record their findings!
