Make some time • Be realistic about when and for how long you can study. • Consult with your parents about family time commitments. • Consider your sports, clubs, job, etc. • Mornings, lunch periods, right after school, evenings, and weekends • Social life might have to be put on hold.

What to DO! • Locate study guide – highlight areas of concern • What if I did not get a study guide? Try to make your own by going through your textbook, notes and graded papers. Some “Don’ts”! • Wait until the night before the final and try to “cram” • Re-read every word of your textbook • Study with someone who will distract you • Make any drastic changes to your diet, sleeping pattern, exercise routine, medication, etc. • Ignore a study guide, review session, blog posting • Kiss, drink after, share germs with people who are sick!
Some Do’s! • Get plenty of sleep! • Eat, stay hydrated, take good care of yourself! • Take breaks while studying! • Reward yourself! • Choose study partners wisely! • Choose study location wisely! • Make a plan! • Stick to your plan!
The Day of the Final • Dress comfortably, in layers. You want options if the room is too hot or too cold. No one is trying to be cute during Finals! • EAT BREAKFAST!
