FACTS: One of every four rapes take place in a public area or in a parking garage. 68% of rapes and personal assaults occur between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Robbery statistics prove both day and night hours to be equally as risky. Incidences of automobile theft have declined in cities with parking facilities equipped with CCTV and Security Enhancement Systems. All statistics are taken from: Violence against Women and Violent Crime Statistics, Bureau of Justice Statistics, U.S. Dept. of Justice.
Does your facility provide: A means for your patrons to obtain help in an emergency or information assistance? The ability for facility staff to remotely attend to information or emergency requests? The ability to centrally or remotely monitor and control access equipment? If you answer “no” to any of these questions, the R.A.M. System is your solution.

R.A.M. CALL STATIONS Emergency Calls are placed by depressing the flashing red pushbutton Full duplex audio communication through the integrated speaker and microphone Emergency Calls must be reset by key switch only Information Calls are placed by depressing the yellow pushbutton Horn/Strobe Lights, Door Contacts and CCTV Cameras may be added to the Call Station as options to the System.
R.A.M. Peripheral Interface Controllers installed in entry, exit and payment stations provide for audio communications with patrons and remote control of station functions such as vending barrier gates and turning on signs. Optional CCTV cameras may be added into the stations and elsewhere for video monitoring and recording.
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS An Emergency Call is placed by depressing the red pushbutton which will flash until the station is reset. If equipped, a horn will sound and the strobe light will flash until an attendant establishes audio contact as they mobilize to the alarm location to investigate and assist. The horn will cease when audio communication is established. The strobe light will stop when the station is reset by the keyswitch.
A voice announcement at the Command Center and the Handset will report the location of the alarm The announcement will also be displayed in text form on the monitor. The announcement will silence when the communication path to the alarm call station is established by either the Command Center or the Handset.
When any call station is initiated, it’s location will automatically appear on the monitor screen and the corresponding icon for the type of alarm will enlarge and flash. Touch the center of the station icon in alarm and the audio communication path will establish. If the call station has the optional camera, touch the video button on the task command bar and a view screen will appear with real-time video images.
When the attendant has reached the emergencyalarm location and satisfies the situation, they will clear the emergency alarm condition by inserting a key into the key switch and reset. This feature forces the guard or attendant to investigate every emergency alarm. All the events are logged in sequence on the System.
An Information Call is placed by depressing the yellow pushbutton which will remain flashing until the station is reset. An announcement will be heard at the station. Information calls may be answered at the Command Center or by the Handset. The Handset and the Command Center have the ability to clear and reset the station after it has concluded any two-way audio communication. This feature also includes communications between the Handset and entry, exit or payment stations.
When the Information Call is initiated, it’s location will automatically appear on the monitor screen and the corresponding icon for the type of alarm will enlarge and flash. The same tasks are executed as with an emergency alarm. Touch the center of the station icon to establish the audio path. If the call station has the optional camera, touch the button on the task bar and a viewing window appears for real-time video.
