Introduction • This brief presentation will introduce you to the resources, services, and people available to help you with library research.
About the Libraries • There are three Libraries at the Azusa campus and library facilities at six Regional Centers. • William V. Marshburn Library • Hugh & Hazel Darling Library • James L. Stamps Theological Library • Specialized facilities include: • Special Collections and University Archives • Media Center and Test Collection • Children’s Literature Collection • Denominational History Collection
Library Resources • The APU Libraries own more than 215,000 books and media items, 1,800 print periodical titles, and more than 630,000 microforms. Most can be mailed to off-campus students upon request. • The Libraries also subscribe to more than 100 online databases, which include more than 12,000 full-text periodical titles and 23,000 electronic books. • Visit the Library Web site to access the Library Catalog and online databases.
Library Services • The Library provides several services of interest to off-campus students: • Interlibrary Services: The Libraries will mail books, articles, media items, and test kits from the Azusa Campus to you. Interlibrary Services also mails books through the LINK+ service, as well as Interlibrary Loan books and articles from other libraries. • Consortium Services: As an APU student, you may be able to visit and borrow materials from other libraries through one of our cooperative agreements. • Visit the Off-Campus Library Services page for more information.
Library Help • The Library faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you locate and use information.
