  2. Fires are Everywhere! Fires can occur at any time and at any place. Fires can be triggered due to various reasons at home, offices, construction sites, factories, schools, and even open spaces.

  3. Examples Where Fires May Occur A room full of computers. A hazardous waste site with flammable chemicals. A kitchen fire at home or at a restaurant.

  4. Some Common Causes of Fire • Open flames such as stoves or fireplaces • Heating, lighting, and electrical equipment malfunctioning • Smoking • Burning
