  17. 2015 CAASPP Institutes Institute Learning Goals • School and district teams deepen their understanding about how to use each component of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System to improve teaching and learning. • School and district teams will deepen their understanding about how to use the components of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System integrate and work together as a system with work already planned for 2015-2016. ___ Each institute comprises of a two all-day sessions and free. LEAs will be invited to send teams of 5 or 6 members with various areas of expertise. A flyer and announcement inviting LEAs to send a team should be coming out in the next few weeks.

  18. 2015 North-South Information Meetings The 2015 North-South Information Meeting will be held this year in Sacramento and Ontario. These meetings will provide local educational agencies updates on a number of important topics related to California’s assessment system.
