Through our unique educational model, we have developed a program that reduces the overhead cost of offering a SRNA course making the overall price affordable for your healthcare institution. As healthcare professionals, we understand the need for SRNAs in the workforce. We also understand that healthcare facilities are being pushed to offer SRNA education in order to fulfill their staffing needs which takes a tremendous of manpower and resources that many facilities do not have. This is why we developed our Facility Partnership Program. Health Education Center, LLC offers two facility partnership pathways to serve your organization whether you prefer to be hands-on with the students, or let us do the work. Let’s take a look at these two pathways to see which is most beneficial for your institution. Facility Operated Agreement: $250 Per Student Our Facility Operated Agreement is the most affordable for your facility! This partnership allows you to take control of SRNA training, while also collaborating with us at HEC to achieve complete success. To begin, your facility must identify the following individuals: •A Nursing Coordinator (typically a DON who is not involved in the instruction) •A Method of Instruction certified instructor who can teach the clinical portion of the course

  2. After this is completed, you, the facility, will be responsible for seeking qualified individuals to enroll in the course and hiring them within your institution. The following items will need to be completed for each student to remain in compliance with Medicaid SRNA regulations: •Criminal background check, KY Nurse Aide Abuse Registry check, Kentucky Adult Misconduct Registry check, a TWO STEP TB Test, HEP B Records, and a copy of their Driver’s License and Social Security Card. •These records must be maintained for a period of five years after the completion of the course. Once the groundwork has been laid, the MOI instructor will collaborate with our Office Manager, Chelsey Styer, to become acquainted with our online classroom. A brief orientation will be conducted where the MOI instructor will learn how to enroll students into the course, view the educational material and monitor student success. Students will then be enrolled into the course by the MOI instructor to officially begin the course. With the blended partnership, HEC will offer the 59 lecture hours required by the Department of Medicaid Services. The student will complete eight online modules coupled with an exam at the end of each module. HEC will maintain all records required by the Department of Medicaid Services in regards to the theory, or lecture, component of the course. After the student has successfully completed the modules, the MOI instructor will coordinate a minimum of 16 Clinical hours to be completed at your facility. Typically performed in two 8 hour days, the MOI instructor will be required to maintain skills checkoff information for each student and attendance for the entire 16 hours. •Most facilities find it is simpler to maintain these documents as part of the employee file in human resources; however, it is the MOI instructor’s responsibility to ensure compliance. Please collaborate with our office associates, as HEC has simple strategies to maintain compliance with little work on behalf of the MOI instructor. Finally, after the student has completed all 75 required hours of instruction & Clinicals, the MOI instructor will submit the students to test at a local testing center. The cost of the test, travel and any other expenses associated with state testing will be the responsibility of the facility. If blended partnership sounds like the best bang for your buck, it is! HEC will walk with you every step of the way. We value your partnership and strive to see that all students you enroll into the program succeed. If this is a good fit for your facility, follow the link to view the contract for more information and to get started! Please do not hesitate to call our office to assist you in the process. We are happy to help, and thank you for your partnership! Facility Operated Agreement PDF HEC Operated Agreement: $500 Per Student Let us handle everything! With this option the facility will not need a Nurse Coordinator or MOI instructor. HEC requires the facility to provide us with the following information, that is obtained at hire:

  3. •Criminal background check, KY Nurse Aide Abuse Registry check, Kentucky Adult Misconduct Registry check and a TWO STEP TB Test. This information, along with our registration paperwork, will be submitted to our office staff, who will register students, and help them navigate the course every step of the way. Please note: Your facility will be responsible for providing each student access to the required textbook (Mosby’s Textbook for Long-Term Care Nursing Assistants – 8th Edition). From this point forward, HEC will do all the work! We will provide the 59 lecture hours and also provide the 16 hours of clinical instruction by a MOI instructor. The facility will not be responsible for maintaining any of the required paperwork and will be notified once the student has completed the course. The facility will then collaborate with HEC to schedule the students for their state exam. We value your partnership and strive to see that all students you enroll into the program succeed. If this partnership is the best option for your facility, follow the link below for a copy of the contract to begin this journey. Please do not hesitate to call our office to assist you in the process. We are happy to help, and thank you for your partnership!
