  2. Health professionals and allied health workers Health professionals and allied health workers slog it out to ensure Australians enjoy a high class healthcare system. HSU or the Health Services Union was formed to safeguard the rights of these health workers.

  3. Journey Insurance As a member of HSU, you are entitled to several benefits including Journey Insurance, bereavement benefits and free legal services. HSU is also involved in campaigns for Ambulance Paramedics, aged care, workplace bullying and parking issues related campaigns.

  4. The NSW government had taken away Journey Insurance from health workers in 2012. The HSU through its constant effort has given it back to its members. Journey Insurance ensures that you get an income support of $1500 or upto 85% of your weekly wage in case you are injured on your way to or from work.
