Act like an Employer Set Expectations Hold People Accountable
Think like a Job Developer: Make it a Good “Job Match” Discovery Process • Likes and Dislikes Assessment Process • Skills and Talents Community Mapping • Where in the community will those skills and talents be appreciated?
Train the Volunteer Coordinator • Different expectations for volunteers vs employees • Often give feedback and direction to staff – not the volunteer
