#2 • Just as the adjective su can refer to many different people so can its pronoun. • Whenever unclear to whom the possessive is referring a propositional phrase is used for clarification
Apuntes • Note that the definite article is often omitted after the verb ser. • It can be used to emphasize whose they are though. ¿Está llevando Elena su suéter? No, No está llevando el suyo. Está llevano el de él. Estos libros son de Marta. Son suyos. No son míos. Estos son los míos y aquellos son los tuyos.
