    1. A Legendary Story about Fundamentals If you are a sports fan, you may have heard this before. If you have studied marketing or done any leadership studies, you most certainly have heard this before. As you read this, think of how it applies to counseling and Christian education in the church.

    2. The fundamentals are important. Vince Lombardi, legendary Green Bay Packers coach, began the first practice of every season surrounded by rookies and veterans. He held a football above his head for all to see and said, "Gentlemen, this is a football." To be successful we must go “back to the basics.”

Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
