Past Tense. 過去式的定義 . 簡單過去式表示某一活動或狀態在過去某一特定時間開始，並在過去某一特定的時間結束。. 規則型 1. 直接在字尾加 ed : learn--learn ed 2. 動詞字尾有 e 者，只加 d : close--close d 3. 動詞字尾有“子音 +y” 者，去 y ，加 ied : study--stud ied 4. 動詞字尾有“母音 +y” 者，直接加 ed : play--play ed. 過去式動詞的形成. 不規則型 go-- went come-- came buy-- bought

  3. 規則型 1.直接在字尾加ed :learn--learned 2.動詞字尾有e者，只加d: close--closed 3.動詞字尾有“子音+y”者，去y，加ied:study--studied 4.動詞字尾有“母音+y”者，直接加ed: play--played 過去式動詞的形成

  5. 明確的過去時間副詞 • 關鍵字 • a year ago (一年前） • last night（昨天晚上） • the day before yesterday（前天） • long ago = a long time ago（很久以前） • the other day = a few days ago（幾天前） • just now （剛才）

  11. Short Story: (underline the past tense and the past time) Once upon a time, a young woman named Cinderella lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters. They were very cruel to her and made her do all the work. One day the king announced,”Every young woman must attend the royal ball,” “Oh, Cinderella, you must help us get ready to go,” said her stepsisters. Soon they left without her. But Cinderella’s fairy godmother came to her rescue.
