  3. 7th& 8th Grade Music • Study composers. • Study the musical eras, and their importance in today’s music. • Learn about musical instruments. • Understanding of music, and listening to different styles. • Learning how to read treble clef music.

  4. Band Class • Students involved in the Shenandoah Valley Concert, Jazz or Marching band are in this class. • They prepare for concerts, football games and parades. • They practice daily, and learn how to better comprehend rhythms and gain technique.

  5. The Importance of Music • Music can be used as an outlet to relax or get away from stress. • Musicians are proven to be smarter then other students. • Music improves other things in life. For Example: It’s used in Movies, video games and played at football games and other sporting events.
