Executive Vice President Report • Became EVP at the conclusion of the Pan-American Congress in Cancún, June 2007. • 2007 Goals: - Increase PAAO membership- Continue developing network with national affiliated ophthalmological societies- Continue developing network with affiliated subspecialty societies

  3. Executive Vice President Report • 2007 Activities: - Collaborated with Arlington Office to develop a promotional slides set for PAAO;- Sent email to each board delegate to update the PAAO’s contact data and database;- Attended meetings in Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Peru to promote PAAO.

  4. Executive Vice President Report • Chair, Congresses Committee • Immediate Committee Objectives: - Along with Executive Committee, review Congress Applications for 2011

  5. Executive Vice President Report • Chair, PAAO Membership Committee • Membership Committee Meeting scheduled for Saturday, November 10. • Immediate Committee Objectives:- Review membership benefits

  6. Executive Vice President Report • Membership Committee Objectives (cont.):- Identify countries for best membership growth- Develop strategic marketing plan in these countries- Identify realistic growth goals for benchmark in each country

  7. Executive Vice President Report • Goals for 2008:- Increase PAAO Active Membership by 5%- Improve communication between PAAO & affiliated national and subspecialty societies- Attend national meetings in XX, XX, XX to promote PAAO
