Parenthetical Reference (MLA) • Points the reader to Works Cited listing • Examples • “Memory is required in order for a system to work” (Andrews, 193). • Chocolate used in chocolate chips is made from cocoa, cocoa butter, and sugar (“Chocolate Glossary”).
