1. What is Classroom Management? • Broad Definition = “Organizing” the classroom in such a way to preventdiscipline problems and maximize student learning • Notice here that in the definition, the focus is on PREVENTION - what teachers can do to avoid problems and maximize learning. We will discuss in a later class ways to REMEDIATE problems that already exist.
