Institutional and Capacity Building in the Environmental Sector Overall objective: Strengthening the administrative, monitoring and enforcement capacity in the environmental sector, notably as regards the implementation of the acquis in the field of air, water, waste, nature protection, standardisation and reporting. EEA NATIONAL NETWORK • Support (technical) to expand SK NRC network (NRC=National Reference Centres) • Improvement of capacity of the national server and technical support for connection of the NRCs in both traditional and new institutions to WANs: ZPNET, EIONET, INTERNET. • Priority data-flow identification based on selection criteria of indicators and its improvement • Training of staff SK03/IB/EN/01-Financed by EU Phare Programme

Institutional and Capacity Building in the Environmental Sector Conclusion: • successful – not only from the content point of view, achievement of defined targets, supplied techniques and solutions within 28 mil.Sk, but also by improvement of partnership between institutions of MoE sector: SEA-SHMI-SEI-SNC of SR and partnership with UBA • project was not only about the work, but also about relations and friendship SK03/IB/EN/01-Financed by EU Phare Programme
