Regional Initiatives RedLAC - Latin American Clusters Network • The RedLAC is a virtual, live and dynamic organism that promotes an ongoing dialogue and effective exchange of tools and experiences among practitioners and their institutions, on competitiveness, clusters and innovation towards economic development in Latin America. It consists of more than 500 members, mostly consultants, representatives of cluster organizations and entrepreneurs. • The CLACs, TCI Latin American Cluster Conferences, are the annual meeting points of the RedLAC. Iniciativas regionales ¿Qué puede encontrar un profesional en TCI? PACF - Pan African Competitiveness Forum The PACF is a new continent-wide competence and action centre for innovation and cluster based competitiveness approaches to national and regional economic development in Africa. Its mission is to stimulate, catalyze and promote the development of innovation and cluster based competitiveness for poverty reduction, wealth creation and sustainable development of Africa.
Regional Initiatives German Contact Point This regional initiative brings together the German-speaking community in TCI from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It develops new services with its members and serves as information point for the dissemination of any relevant information about TCI in the German speaking area. A continuous priority of the TCI German Contact Point consists in promoting TCI membership, with great success. A special interest group on internationalisation of clusters has been set up around the German Contact Point. First results will be presented at this conference.
Regional Initiatives Caspian Contact Point This regional initiative aims at promoting the cluster approach to increase the standard of well-being in the Caspian region, including Russia, Kazakstan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan. It will officially be launched in Astrakhan, on 25-27 October 2011 http://tcipoint.aspu.ru
