Reading club that uses a game show format to challenge teams’ knowledge of books. • 8 pre-selected books • Teams of students are asked questions based… characters, plots, themes, and settings • Teams consist of 4 students from Grade 5-8. (Usually NO more than 4 on a team) • Students in each team read all of the pre-selected titles • Points are scored by correctly identifying the titles and authors of the books. (1 point for the author name, 3 points for title. There are NO half points) • Questions are asked in the form of a question…”In which book…?” What is B.O.B.?
