  2. Introduction Suzhou is a city 86 km away from Shanghai. There are so many lakes and rivers in Suzhou, but there are only few mountains. Those rivers were used to be used as transportation, and many people still use to transport something. There are many landscape in Suzhou. In this PowerPoint, I want to talk about history and other basic knowledge about Suzhou. Please Enjoy.

  4. Climate In Suzhou It is up to you whether youfeel this is hot or cold. If you are from North Pole, you may feel hot. As you can see clearly, it is not really good temperature to have polar bear as a pet, so please be careful. It is not good temperature to have crocodile either.

  5. History of Suzhou Since long times ago, Suzhou was famous as a big city near Yangtse river in Jiangnan. It was good at transporting since there were river near and in the city. The city is built in Spring and Autumn period in the middle of Wu state. The city of Suzhou is destroyed quite many times but it was always re-built. It was famous with silk industry but as the time goes, it also became famous with cotton industry. Many famous scholars lived in suzhou, and many beautiful garden of those people still remain. Suzhou is also famous with its beautiful natural landscape.

  6. Historical Views HanShan Temple It is a Buddhist temple made in southern and northern dynasties period. It is famous with its bell, and it is monastery of Suzhou, China.

  7. Historical Spot Classical Garden of Suzhou Since Suzhou city exists from long times ago, there are so many historical gardens in Suzhou. They are mostly the gardens of some famous people or a public park. Those gardens used river and lakes to make looking beautiful and there are also many plants in and around river. In Spring we are able to see many flower blooming. There are many gardens in Suzhou, and I guess if you are in Suzhou, you go to one of them, since it is now also a World Heritage Site, and you will be also able to know some history of those gardens.
