Conservation and education The need of marine park: • threatened by the impacts of sewage, dumping, reclamation and other forms of threats such as destructive fishing. Government Work(AFCD): • trawling, unauthorised fishing, hunting or collecting of marine life are prohibited. • recreational activities are prohibited

Marine Parks Management Country and Marine Parks Authority is responsible for management: 1. planning for proper utilization of existing marine protected areas (MPAs) (including both marine parks and marine reserve) 2. monitoring the ecology, environment and activities 3. the Marine Parks and Marine Reserve Regulation (Cap. 476A) to achieve the resource sustainability
