  26. Get to know your “Sphere of Influence” BUT DO NOT be discouraged if they DO NOT want to know you! DO NOTbecome intimidated!

  27. DO NOT try to remember everything. DO NOT sit on information too long.

  28. DO NOT spend too much time focusing on what you DO NOT have; what you CANNOT do; and/or who WILL NOT help you. DO NOT avoid regular communication with your boss or to ask for his/her help. DO NOT pay attention to the “Are You Kidding Me” look on his/her face the more you talk or the developing scowl the longer you remain in their presence.
