Current activities • UN CT theme group under RC office (identifying commonalities with existing UN projects and initiatives) • Exploring existing UN data, methodologies to support • Concept paper to MoFA (international organisations, cross-cutting issues) • MoFA to disseminate to relevant ministries
UNDP proposed process • Inter-ministerial working group (IMWG) • IMWG to take lead with UN support • Technical seminar – UNCT, IMWG, Stat office
Technical seminar • Agree how to organise the MDG Report and disaggregation process • Find synergies with other reporting requirements (EU Social Inclusion) • Clarify what to achieve with this process • Identify existing knowledge and knowledge gaps • Identify existing development plans (and gaps in government policies/plans) • Decide on action plan
UNDP proposed process contd. • Spread info to partners and stakeholders (government institutions, NGOs, private sector, academia, regional development agencies, foundations, etc) • Workshop – discuss/decide on disaggregated targets and indicators, work plans, methodology, create partnerships

Impediments • Government: -artificial process? -EU accession demands
