Highlights of current ITU-R activities (2) • Emergency communications • Recommendation on radiocommunications used for emergency in manned space flight • Recommendation and reporton use of systems in fixed-satellite service(FSS) in the event of natural disasters • Recommendation and report on use of mobile-satellite service (MSS) in disaster response and relief • Development and maintenance of the database of available frequencies/frequency bands for use in emergency situations • Report and draft Recommendation on use of UHF bands for PPDR
