Introduction to CP-Mission • 1990 GMS sent Chong Pae & Mayuree to Thailand • 1992 Planted the Santiphap church in Bangkok (Santiphap means ‘Peace’ in Thai) • 1994 GMS sent Chong Pae & Mayuree to Singapore • 1996 Held the 1st Korea & Thailand Mission Conference in Korea and formed CPM (Church Planting Mission) • 2002 Changed the name from CPM to CP-Mission (Co-Pioneers Mission) • 2004 Santiphap Church Association was registered under the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand • 2006 Santiphap Church Singapore was registered under Singapore Registra of Society • 2008 Santiphap Mission Organization was registered under the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand • At present, there are 12 churches and preaching stations at 10 provinces in Thailand and 2 churches in overseas under SCA and 12 missionaries in SMO
Ministry: Lecture • 5, 11 Sep – Lectured at the Asian Cross-Cultural Training Institute (Singapore) on the Cross-Cultural Church Planting. • 18 Sep – Lectured at the Bangkok Santiphap Church (Thailand) for a mission trip team from the Agape Church, Seattle USA while they arranged an English camp. • 23, 24 Sep – Lectured at the Nonsaat Santiphap Church (Thailand) for the preparation course of ordination of new ministers including deacons.
Ministry: Sermon • 7 Sep – Interpreted a sermon of Rev. Eric Chua at the Santiphap Church Singapore on the 13th Anniversary. • 14 Sep – Delivered a sermon at the NaSum Korean Church (Singapore) on the 18th Anniversary. • 25 Sep – Delivered a sermon at the Nonsaat Santiphap Church (Thailand) for revival. • 28 Sep – Delivered a sermon at the Khon Kaen Santiphap Church (Thailand).
Fellowship • 12 Sep – With Rev. Lee Eun Moo and catch up on the plan of missionary trainers gathering in May 09. • 15 Sep – With Rev. & Mrs. Dave Walker (OC) and catch up the result of Asian Mission Forum (GMTI) and possibility of developing further partnership between OC and GMS. • 20 Sep – with Rev. Oh Sae Kwan (TMM) at Bangkok. • 27 Sep – With Rev. & Mrs. Bae Jong Won (GMS FD in Thailand 2) at Khon Kaen. • 28 Sep – With Rev. Kim Nam Hyun (YWAM Thailand) at Khon Kaen.
CP-Mission MinistryFounder & Director • 7 Sep – Attended the 13th Anniversary of Santiphap Church Singapore. • 17-18 Sep – Coordinated the mission trip team from the Agape Church, Seattle USA. • 22-26 Sep – Conducted 2nd training for two pastors and their wives on the preparation of ordination with other pastors and missionaries at the Non Saat Church, Udonthani province Thailand • 26-28 Sep – Visited Khon Kaen Santiphap Church and Rev. & Mrs. Kwon Jung Hyun to settle down the relationship and develop further partnership.
Plan for October 08 • Preach at the Thai Ture Way Presbyterian Church and the Santiphap Church Singapore on 5 Oct. • Meet with the mission committee of the Hope Presbyterian Chruch on 12 Oct. • Lecture for a mission trip team from the Cagayan Gospel Church, the Philippines on 14 Oct. • Coordinate Rev. & Mrs. Jeffrey Li(Hong Kong)’s visit to churches in Thailand during 16-25 Oct. • Train and ordination of pastors at the Bangkok Church during 27-30 Oct. • Arrange an opening service of a preaching station at Korat with CP-Misison sponsoring churches.
Prayer Request • God’s grace and power upon two Thai pastors – Bunkong and Praphat – as they prepare for ordaination as ministers for the gospel. • Safe journey of all pastors who are partaking the ordination service – Rev. Kim Ju Won, Rev. Lee Ki Chul, Rev. Park Jae Shin, Rev. Kim Hee Dong from Korea and Rev. Paul Choi from USA. • Preparation of starting a school (Santiphap School of Ministry, SSM) in Thailand to train local (Thai) leaders & cross-cultural workers in 2009. • Develop partnership with churches in Singapore, in Hong Kong, in Korea and in USA for the development of SSM.
