Improving Quality - Globally • In 2007 the World Bank and UNESCO launched the Global Initiative for Quality Assurance Capacity (GIQAC) • facilitates global and regional knowledge sharing of good practices; • promotes communication among a diverse set of agencies and professionals; • supports the production of analyses and guidelines; • engenders plans for long-term network sustainability.
