  6. Effective groups (I) • Shape purpose in response to environmental challenges, opportunities • Translate purpose into specific, measurable goals • Have right mix of expertise • Develop common understanding of how people will work together

  7. Effective Groups (II) • Hold themselves mutually accountable • Use humor and play to encourage creativity, release tension • Develop passion, spirit, soul
