Benefits and costs How has it worked at ASU? • Biology 100 – The Living World (300 non-majors) • Persistence – withdraws fell to 1.5 % • Performance – C or better increased to 94% • Satisfaction Student course evaluations improved Professor said, “I’m never lecturing again.” • Financials We saved money from not having repeat students.
