Functionalities for Schools and MEDs: Industrial Liaison • It enables school management to invite businesses for partnership. Some of the most common cooperation forms are: • Donor: areas where businesses can financially support schools. • Analysis of demand for competences: business experts cooperate with the school to define competences and skills important in the labor market. • Analysis of demand for jobs: constant communication aiming for an equilibrium between the demand and supply for jobs. • Internship provider: cooperation with businesses that are willing to offer internships and/or job opportunities to the school. • Guest speakers: lectures with experienced and successful entrepreneurs, who can share their stories and discuss with students.
Training Needs Analysis (TNA) Schools can choose businesses and occupations which they want to conduct a quantitative analysis for, in order to understand the future demand in the labor market. This survey consists of pre-defined questions, such as: • What are the chances that you will hire staff for this occupation? • How many people will you hire in 1 month? • How many people will you hire in 3 months? • How many people will you hire in 6 months? • How many people will you hire in 1 year? • What salary are you willing to provide for a well-trained and competent candidate?
Skills and Knowledge Needs Assessment (SKNA) • It helps schools to prepare a survey by listing the competences for a given occupation, while businesses are invited to provide their assessment. • Businesses are encouraged to offer recommendations for new competences which may be important, but are not currently included and offered by the school.
Online Surveys • Are enriched with 9 question formats available to schools to collect data and information in the most suitable way possible. • Such surveys can be sent to companies, students, teachers, parents and other external parties that cooperate and interact with the school. The purpose may be evaluating an event or the impact of a decision or new practice taken by the schools.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) • Enables the school management to monitor and oversee the teaching and learning processes at the school. • Quality measurement at the school is based on such indicators as: • Curricula adequacy; • Teaching and learning materials; • Dropout rate; • Enrollment; • Profile qualification validations; • CoC VET provider accreditation; • Short course quality; • Student success rates; • Students' learning time; • CoC partnership agreements; • Financial sustainability.
