Reserve Categories. *IRR/ASL Members may be assigned to field units & drill for retirement (points), but extended assignment to the IRR or ASL is discouraged ** In very limited circumstances, Retirees may be recalled to the SELRES and follow SERLRES guidelines, but are not eligible for promotion.
