Christine (Tina) Thill, RN Administrator/Owner Libby’s House is: the culmination of everything that Tina has learned caring for seniors, interacting with families, collaborating with the medical profession, developing staff skills, and seeking new ways to provide the best care possible to seniors and special attention to the unique needs of the memory impaired person.

Who is Libby? • Elizabeth (Libby) Tresp is Tina’s grandmother • She is 101 years young and she has played an integral part of Tina’s life • Libby was a compassionate nurse and she was a driving force in Tina becoming a nurse
Dining Program • Libby’s House dining program has been developed by Jeremiah Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds has extensive culinary arts experience at many restaurants including Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel, South Korea and The American Club. • Mr. Reynolds brings an unmatched flair for balancing flavor and nutrition. He will indulge the residents with monthly requests and specialty meals.
Kitchen/Dining Room • Breakfast is served whenever a resident wakes up • Dinner is served at 12:30 p.m. • Super is served at 5:30 p.m. • Nutritioussnacks and beverages are provided throughout the day
Private Dining Room • Used for daily devotions • Available for families to celebrate birthdays and special occasions.
Family Room Residents enjoy: • Relaxing on the furniture which rocks and comfortably reclines • Daily exercises • Watching a favorite show or concert on the flat screen TV
Activity Room Residents enjoy: • Watching the wildlife that comes to the detention pond • Participating in therapeutic activities
Therapeutic and Social Activities • DailyDevotions–meet the majority of resident preferences and/or switch between devotional material of many faiths. Weekly Rosary and communion are available • Music–we celebrate with sing-a-longs, hymns, playing instruments and listening to a variety of music on our sound system throughout the home and in the courtyard
Therapeutic and Social Activities Continued… • Exercise–daily options which were developed by our host occupational therapist, Mueller Therapy and include: walking club, Jazzercise, Sittercise, sit and fit, Yoga, stretching and weight lifting • Sensory–activities which sharpen the basic senses i.e.: recalling aromas, defining different feelings, recognizing musical tones and of course everyone’s favorite; taste
Therapeutic and Social Activities Continued… • Mind–stimulating games which encourage critical thinking skills, recall, numerical sequencing etc. • One-on-one time–our staff spends time with a resident doing the activity of their choice in a manner that pleases or enhances their well-being

Offers many spacious common areas • There are many places for residents and their guests to visit • There are many places for the residents to participate in activities, enjoy TV programming, and or just relax and meditate
Offers spacious hallways • Handrails throughout the home encourage independence • The home is set up in a rectangular shape, hallways are named, and each resident has a shadow box outside their room which helps with improve navigation and adds ads adds a personalized touch
Private Resident Rooms/Suites • Private bathrooms with walk-in showers and fold down seats • In-room refrigerators • Cable hook-up and telephone jacks • Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and belongings to help make it feel “like home” • Some rooms offer extra wide doorways to help promote independence
Spa Tub Room • Whirlpool tub is available for all residents to use on a weekly or occasional basis • Provides a relaxing option for residents who prefer not to use the shower • Helps with circulation, aches and pains and wound management
Beauty/Barber Shop Every Thursday, a licensed cosmetologist comes to help ensure the residents look good and feel good. Residents may pay for their services through their resident funds • Wash and cut – $10 • Wash and set – $12 • Wash cut and set – $18 • Permanents – $40 • Color – varies

Our specialty is providing on-going care for those affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, but is not limited to such diagnosis. Our care concepts include adjusting care to meet the changing needs of our residents.
