Goal #3Task Force Support Prevent Suicide PAproposes to reach out to local Suicide Prevention task forces to learn about assistance, training, and resources needed within the local communities, as they usually have a clear understanding what is needed within their own communities concerning suicide and suicide prevention. Task Forces provide us with vital information, not only on how we can support their needs, but also on challenges that may need to be addressed more broadly through statewide initiatives. During this fiscal year we will begin to enlist the Task Forces to access data regarding trainings, community data and potential needs of their counties. In essence, they serve as the eyes and ears that drive many of our efforts. Regional task force meetings held in October & March/April 2019. https://www.preventsuicidepa.org/task-force-county-init/
