12. Task: You are now going to create a character who is living in Ludlow in the spring of 1914
This character can be pretty much anybody you want them to be however they should be male and between the ages of 16 and 30

13. Empathise: You are now going to work with a partner to write a diary entry explaining what happened to your characters during the first week of May, 1914
Think about what two young men may have got up to at this time- their jobs, entertainments and hopes for the future should all feature in your writing
