WRC Committee Goals • Oversee the development and maintenance of the Public Health Data Standards Consortium’s website. • Provide resources and guidance for local, State, and national organizations to participate in standards development activities, encourage adoption and improvement of existing standards, and to facilitate standards implementation. • Develop and maintain a Web-accessible list of existing health data standards and standards development efforts, providing their context and identifying their relevance to public health. • Disseminate educational materials utilizing various Web-based media to address the needs of public health practitioners and educators as related to health data standardization. • Explore enhancement options for the next generation of the Web-Based Resource Center.
