Request for Board Action • Authorize the formation of the Riviera Beach Community Development Corporation (RBCDC) • Approve the posting for a new hire: Community Development Officer • Appoint directors to the RBCDC: • Executive Director, RBCRA • RBH Resident in the CRA (one each) • RB Resident from Council District (one each)

  3. Neighborhood Delivery System:Riviera Beach CDC • Newly formed not-for-profit • Eligible for federal & private foundation funding • Mission of neighborhood development • Board membership to keep organization accountable for neighborhood development

  4. Neighborhood Delivery System:Community Development Officer • Dedicated resource for neighborhood development • Secure federal funding from Palm Beach County • Manage Riviera Beach CDC • Implement neighborhood improvement programs

  5. Request for Board Action • Authorize Interim Legal Attorney to create the Riviera Beach CDC, Inc, as a wholly-owned affiliate of the Riviera Beach CRA, and not-for-profit entity RBCRA Legal Entities
