Augusta University ARMY ROTC WHAT IS ROTC? Army ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) is one of the best leadership courses in the country and is part of the Cadet’s college curriculum. *There is no military commitment by registering for the class!! You take your normal college degree curriculum and ROTC are elective credits that count toward a minor in Military Science. During classes and field training, Cadets will learn: • How to lead and motivate others to accomplish a mission • How to be a part of a successful team and conduct missions as an Officer in the Army Upon graduation from college and completion of Army ROTC requirements, the Cadet will earn the bar of a Second Lieutenant and become a leader for life. Leader, counselor, strategist… It's similar to being a vital manager in a corporation.

Augusta University ARMY ROTC WEEKLY SCHEDULE PT Schedule: 6:00-7:00am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am classes are discouraged to ensure that Cadets are able to shower, change clothes, eat and get to class on time Class Schedule: 2 hour class on Friday afternoon from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Lab Schedule: (directly after class on Fridays): Friday 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM 1-2 weekend Field Training Exercises (FTXs) per semester
Augusta University ARMY ROTC ARMY ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS 2, 3, and 4-year Scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree Scholarships pay Tuition & Fees or Room & Board (Students can use both HOPE and Army ROTC Scholarships) $5,000 per semester for those who select Room & Board $1,200 per academic year for books Nurse Scholarships Army ROTC Scholarships also provide monthly living allowances (stipends) to contracted Cadets for each school year. This allowance is also available to all Non-Scholarship Cadets contracted in Army ROTC (2nd, 3rd, and 4th year). CADET STIPEND of $420/month FOR LIVING EXPENSES
Augusta University ARMY ROTC COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS CRITERIA Be a U.S. Citizen Be between ages 17 and 29 Have a college GPA of at least 2.5 Have a high school diploma or equivalent *Score minimum 1000 on the SAT or 20 on the ACT Meet physical fitness standards Medically qualify Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve component (U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard) *ACT/SAT score only applies for 4 year scholarships
