Lesson Objectives • All of you should be able to describe the basic techniques in GIMP • Most of you should be able to describe the elements of the user interface in GIMP • Some of you should be able to describe key concepts related to image edition.
Image Edition Basic Techniques • In groups you will receive a list of words. Each one represents a technique. • You will need to match the technique with the slides of the power point located in Laboratorio_Uno/ITLab 1A/ with the name “21 Naming techniques.pptx” and then write a small description of it. • Groups are allowed to use two computers. • Everyone in the groups needs to be able to explain the technique. • Remember to make copy of the original file. • 10 minutes • HUE and SATURATION
GIMP user’s interface • Individually: Open GIMP and using your e-hand out, describe the 5 elements. Inside a coloured box. • 10 minutes
