COLLEGE SUCCESS CURRICULUM MODELS • BTE-Norristown & BTE-Wissahickon: Strategies for College Success College Course (SCS 101) • Typical: 2 credits @ Montgomery County Community College = 26 hrs. • Modified (BTE alignment): 6-8 hours of “workshops” • Topics/Learning Outcomes include: • college support resources and policies* • educational and career planning* • setting goals, managing time, and managing stress* • study skills, problem-solving & critical thinking, and valuing diverse perspectives*
