SINS Remitted Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Remission = freedom, pardon, forgiveness, liberty Verb = to throw away or cast off Acts 10:43 - remission = dismissal, release

  4. SINS Nailed to The Cross Col. 2:14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross” Our sins were transferred to Jesus He died in our place – Heb. 2:9 Our sins were nailed with Him to that cross!

  7. SINS Cast into the Depths of the Sea Mic. 7:19 “He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” - Our sins are lost, destroyed, buried out of sight. - They cannot be retrieved!
