Conditionsforbookingcapacityvia RFC 7 C-OSS • An international request for capacity on a corridor has to fulfil the following requirements: • to be submitted to a C-OSS; • using PCS system (Access to PCS is granted by RailNetEurope upon request of the applicant.); • including at least one PaP/RC segment in the request; • to cross at least one border on a corridor; • the technical parameters of the path request have to be within the range of the parameters of the requested PaP segments (exceptions are possible if allowed by the concerned IM/AB e.g. when the timetable of the PaP can be respected); • applicantshaveacceptedthe General Terms & Conditions (tickbox)
Exceptionalcases • In exceptional cases when PCS cannot be used for path requesting (e.g. due to permanentserver • breakdown) the C-OSS canprovide a paper format Application Form. • After the verification of the applicantthe C-OSS shall take the necessary measurese.g.contact with • PCS Support in order to place the request in PCS, based on the receivedApplicationForm.
Requestingservicesin Hungary via PCS • Based on ’PCS national IM parameters’ created and managed by VPE. • In order to use this feature the necessary data shall be entered by the RUs, which are paired with VPE in the dossier, during the harmonization phase. • List of available services (the numbers are referring to KAPELLA): • 05 Ensuring access to wagon weight bridges • 09 Outdoor train acceptance • 18 Ensuring of staff by IM for weighting • 36 Shunting of its own • 44 Ensuring staff for shunting • 46 Ensuring of traction unit for shunting • 54 Train preparation • 56 Availability of traction unit • 58 Availability of staff for shunting • Other special services (e.g. exchange of axles) shall be ordered directly in KAPELLA.
Requestingservicesin Hungary via PCS • The ordering process is almost the same as in KAPELLA. • First step: RU chooses service type from the dossier level IM parameter list. • Second step:RU fills in the mandatory fields which are linked to the service (parent-child relation). • It is important that from the list of operation points you can choose only those stations where the service is available.
