Validation of the sample will be from Keech Hospice. • Objectives • Systematic review of prognostic factors contributing to cancer. • To develop a prognostic assessment tool to measure the life expectancy of the palliative children and young adults suffering with cancer. • To evaluate prognostic assessment tool among the palliative children and young adults suffering with cancer. • Expected outcomes • New tool will be developed which will potentially • contribute to NHS. • Wide application among palliative children and • young adults. • Procures financial benefit to the Department of the • Health.
