e-Portfolios in Education “A portfolio is a purposeful collection of student work that exhibits the student's efforts, progress, and achievements in one or more areas. The collection must include student participation in selecting content, the criteria for selection, the criteria for judging merit, and evidence of student self-reflection.” – Northwest Evaluation Association

Vendor Selection Process • Comprehensive investigation and summary of major vendors • Several “pilot” programs conducted with various e-Portfolio products, in various courses • Weighted decision matrix • Visits with representatives from each vendor (demo’s, sales-pitches, etc.) • Recommendation Report

TaskStream is used by… • K-12 Students (Reflect Initiative) • Teacher-Education Students • Professional Teachers • Student Teachers • Administrators In addition, several AZ institutions have implemented, or plan to implement, TaskStream as an electronic portfolio tool, including: ASU, ASU-West, U of A, Maricopa Community College, and University of Phoenix.
