ANSF Logistics • Although getting better…Logistics continues to be a challenge for the ANSF • ANA logistics is better off than the ANP, but still remains a challenge • The Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) logistical system for the ANP mirrors the MoD’s system • Mentor’s play a critical role in enforcing the logistics standards • Know and understand the MoD 14 Process • Ensure that they go through their channels—generate the request (even for items that are not readily available in the Afghan system). • Track and verify requests • Use Operational Funds (OPFUNDS) only when the ANSF logistics systems has been utilized / exhausted • Ministry of Defense (MoD) forms: • MoD ANA Form 2 (Stock Accounting Record) • MoD ANA Form 3 (Register of Supply Actions) • MoD ANA Form 4 (Document Control Register) • MoD ANA Form 9 (Item Materiel Issue Order) • MoD ANA Form 14 (Request for Issue or Turn-In) • MoD ANA Form 1298 (Due out Record) MoD 14 is the key form for ANSF Logistics
