  2. EQUINUS DEFORMITY Equinus is probably the most unrecognized, and untreated pathological condition affecting the human lower extremity.

  3. Symptoms • Foot fatigue • Leg and arch pain • Night cramps • Walking intemperance • Athletic abstinence • Sedentary hobby pursuit • Abnormal shoe wear

  4. EGR Logistical Sequence ASSESS EQUINUS

  5. Four Classifications • Gastrocnemius Equinus • Gastrocnemius-Soleal • Osseous Equinus • Pseudo Equinus

  6. Gastrocnemius-Soleal Equinus 20 degree increase in dorsiflexion when the knee is flexed from what was available when extended, but less than 10 degrees of increase.
